In a year that many awards and distinctions have been cancelled or postponed, Safety NL is shining a spotlight on those who have been instrumental in keeping COVID-19 at bay in Newfoundland and Labrador.
Safety NL bestows the Harry Megann Helping Hand Award upon a person or group that displays an unmatched dedication to the continued well being of residents in the province.
This year, the recognition is being split between three unique entities that have met on the common battleground. The Provincial Medical Association, the College of Registered Nurses and the NL Public Health Association are the recipients of the annual award.
